Stripes, Tartan, gingham and plaid

Stripes, Tartan, gingham and plaid

Pattern mixing is currently trending but if you are like me I always struggle to get it right. Then a interior designer shared with me that the easiest way to mix patterns is to add a classic stripe or plaid. You basically treat them as a solid. We gathered the best www.littlechickadeeshop.com removable peel and stick patterns to do this with. This wallpaper is high quality and very easy to apply.

Up first are the stripes. Oh how I love a stripe. It's like the timeless version of shiplap. These add height to your space making the room look taller and more grand.

I've always love a good neutral stripe. This wallpaper striped pattern in tan and white has a fabric like printed texture to add another layer of softness and texture.

This peel and stick wallpaper pattern is also in navy and white and we are in love with both. Both could be layered with mixed prints and neutrals. The navy blue color could even be added to a nautical nursery.

Speaking of nurseries.... How dreamy is this pink fabric textured striped peel and stick wallpaper?.. awwww I can see this one done in a more grown up French country way too.

I'm loving this reading nook with the mixed neutral striped peel and stick wallpaper. If you fell in love with the ship lap trend but want something more current this is your pattern. It's classic and more sophisticated can easily blend in with the modern farmhouse style or the traditional style that we've seen everywhere resurfacing. I've always been a big fan of mixing styles to make a more timeless look.

I just had baby blue striped wallpaper pattern. This screams classic baby boy but I'm also envisioning it in a coastal or beach house. I love the little details within the stripes.

If you want something a little more color and have a more midcentury vibe. I'm absolutely loving this abstract retro line / stripe peel and stick wallpaper. You can easily pick up some of the colors within the wallpaper pattern to play up on the color or tone it down like this dinning space.

Okay... so this one is only kinda sorta a stripe... but I promised wallpaper patterns that you could easily mix with other patterns. I see this in a guest room mixed with floral blue bedding or I can imagine it in a baby boys bedroom with fun colorful art layered over the top. We also love the blue wallpaper pattern in this toned down small home office.

Next up we pulled a couple gingham wallpaper patterns. Gingham can be decorated with most decor vibes. It's always been around yet never really went out of style. This year we are seeing the pattern gain a lot of popularity.

I've always treated green as a neutral. It's just as easy to mix colors with green. I think that's because green is so prevalent in nature. This one is no exception. I feel like you could totally go for a cozy grandma cottage style with mixed colorful florals. Or keep it classic like this little boys room.

For the actual neutral lovers I added the gray gingham wallpaper as well.

Now for the tartan and plaid wallpaper patterns.. Like a cozy flannel shirt that is always a staple in the closet and always in style. These plaid wallpaper patterns are preppy and timeless at the same time. You can easily style this plaid wallpaper as you would when wearing it.

I love a neutral plaid. I have several in my own closet. Usually I wear them with a vintage band tee. With this neutral gray, beige and cream plaid peel and stick wallpaper you could easily layer vintage band posters on top to give that 90s grunge feel. Or apply it in a laundry room like you can see here.

Speaking of outfits this designer inspired wallpaper is the perfect dupe without the price tag.

Last but not least I'm obsessed with this black and tan plaid wallpaper in this nursery. Nothing themey about it just a classic to grow up in.

Hope these were inspirational for you. You can find all these luxury removable peel and stick wallpaper patterns at www.littlechickadeeshop.com available in both vinyl and canvas
